Research Project Looking for Rancher Assistance

The University of Wyoming is looking for ranchers to be a part of a research project to understand the benefits, concerns, and perceptions of prescribed fire use.  There is a lack of research on why ranchers decide to use prescribed fire as a management tool or not. Understanding the contributing factors of why this occurs will help to fill an important knowledge gap in rangeland management.  This research will be accomplished with rancher participation in helping us to understand those decision-making processes. This will take roughly an hour and will be done over the phone or through a virtual platform (zoom, skype, etc.).
